Rogers of New York City was marketing this medicine from the grand Gothic Hall Building in 1851. Amon L. Scovill came to New York in the 1850s already a prosperous druggist and acquired several products including Dr. Rogers Liverwort, Tar and Canchalagua as well as Hall’s Balsam for the Lungs.
