It is put up, highly concentrated in pint bottles, with the name blown in the glass. Hundreds, thousands who deemed themselves tottering on the dread verge of eternity, have been snatched back to life by the aid of the Elixir. $3 or two for $5, Sept. 15, 1853 NYT; R.W. This good size medicine has much character, crude glass with large pontil scar and loaded with hundreds of seed bubbles. Oval, tapered collar, strongly embossed. American, C. 1850, scarce.
