Description: This large 12 sided medicine was first made by Rev. Downs and when the demand for it increased beyond his capacity to produce it he sold the rights to J.M. Henry & Son of Waterbury, Vermont. This firm in turn became Henry, Johnson & Lord of Burlington, Vt. (Compliments of Betty Blasi – A Bit About Balsams).
