Description: This medicine was first
made by Rev. Downs and when the demand for it increased beyond
his capacity to produce it he sold the rights to J.M. Henry
& Son of Waterbury, Vermont. This firm in turn became
Henry, Johnson & Lord of Burlington, Vt. (Compliments
of Betty Blasi – A Bit About Balsams).
